Kia ora everyone … Just a heads up to let you know that The Small Girl Who Lives Next Door is available online (as well as in great bookshops 🥳) It’s a new children’s picture book I’ve written about a young Pākehā boy learning Te Reo Māori from 'the small girl who lives next door'. It’s been a long time in the pipeline … so I’m really pleased it’s finally seeing the light of day! Thanks to everyone who helped me with it, from Rautini O’Brien, who created the amazing illustrations, to the staff and students of Te Kura a Iwi o Whakatupuranga Rua Mano, who helped check my translations! A big shout out to Lynn Peck for the design and lay out the book as well. And to Amey who looks after the website. I hope you enjoy it!
