Article from The Spinoff

Kia ora everyone, this is just a quick note to post with an article that was published in The Spinoff recently. I adapted it from a speech I gave at Palmerston North Hospital at the end of last year. I used the occasion to reflect on our health system and where I think things are at at the moment. It was a good opportunity to get things off my chest and to figure out the swirl in my head. And it’s very much a view from my own particular trench. I hope it resonates a little for some of you.
